The Honourable Sir Marston Gibson, Chief Justice of Barbados will officially open the third in a series of consultations geared towards developing model guidelines for the handling of sexual offence cases and treatment of sexual offences, including children.
The two day consultation is hosted by the Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project in collaboration with the judiciary of Barbados from December 5 to 6, 2016 and will be held at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel, The Garrison Historic Area, Bridgetown, Barbados.
The opening ceremony takes place on Monday December 5, 2016 at 8:15 am. Her Excellency Marie Legault, High Commissioner of Canada to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean along with Dr. Penny Reedie, Director, JURIST Project will also deliver addresses.
