Her Ladyship, the Hon. Justice Clare Henry, Resident High Court Judge, Antigua and Barbuda will officially open the second in a series of consultations geared towards developing model guidelines for the handling of sexual offence cases and treatment of sexual offences, including children.
The two day consultation is hosted by the Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project in collaboration with the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC) from November 17 to 18, 2016 and will be held at the Jolly Beach Resort, Bolands, Antigua and Barbuda.
Belize was the first country to host this consultation. Other consultations will follow in Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.
