The Honourable Mr. Justice Carl Singh, Chancellor of the Judiciary of Guyana will officially open the fifth in a series of collaborative workshops geared towards building awareness, momentum and consensus for the Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project’s Third Year Work Plan.
The two day workshop is being hosted by the JURIST Project in collaboration with the judiciary of Guyana and will be held at the Georgetown Club, Camp Street, Georgetown, Guyana on July 8 and 9, 2016. His Excellency Pierre Giroux, High Commissioner of Canada to Guyana and Suriname will also address participants.
Guyana is the fifth country to host this collaborative workshop. Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada and Belize have all hosted workshops in the past weeks. Workshops are also planned for other countries.
