ECSC LAUNCHES MEDIATION PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC) with support from the Canadian-funded Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project, will launch a Mediation Public Awareness Campaign in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.  The launch will take place on May 9, 2019 at the the National Insurance Services Conference Room, Kingstown, St. Vincent at 10 am. The ECSC has revitalized its Court-Connected Mediation programme with the assistance on the JURIST Project. In May, 2018 a total of 25 persons from the OECS were trained in mediation by the University of the West Indies (UWI).Speakers at the event will include Dr. the Honourable Ralph E. Gonsalves, Prime Minister and Minister of Legal Affairs, St. Vincent and the Grenadines; the Honourable Dame Janice Pereira, Chief Justice, ECSC and Mrs. Gloria Richards-Johnson, Director, JURIST Project among others.
