The Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project will be represented at the 2018 Conference on “Gender Equality, Inclusive Governance and the Law: Aligned for a Better World” by Dr. Penny Reedie, Project Director and Ms. Anika Gray, Project Coordinator and Gender Specialist.
The Conference takes place from January 22-23, 2018 in Ottawa, Canada and is being held by the Canadian Association of International Development Professionals (CAIDP) in collaboration with the Canadian Council of International Law (CCIL).
CAIDP and CCIL are pleased to bring together policy makers, international law and development practitioners, and academics to hear the latest and discuss implications of Canada’s new Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP).
The FIAP will be the focus of discussions, and Dr. Reedie and Ms. Gray will present the recently launched Model Guidelines for Sexual Offence Cases in the Caribbean Region and the Gender Equality Protocols for Magistrates and Judges.
