GENDER SENSITIVE ADJUDICATION TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR JAMAICAN JUDGES

The Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project in collaboration with the Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers (CAJO) and UN Women will host Part 1 of its three-part Train the Trainer Gender Sensitive Adjudication Training at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica.

Two, two-day workshops are planned from December 2-3 for Parish Judges and December 8-10 for Supreme Court and Court of Appeal Judges.

The objective of the workshops is to strengthen the capacity among judicial officers to train other judicial officers on how to practically use gender equality protocols to achieve more gender sensitive adjudication.
