The Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project in collaboration with UN Women, the Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers (CAJO) and the Trinidad and Tobago Judicial Education Institute (TTJEI) will host a two-day training on gender sensitive adjudication from November 23-24, 2017. The training will be held at the TTJEI’s office in Port-of- Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
The objective of the training is to ensure that participants:
– Understand the importance of gender responsive adjudication to the administration of justice and public trust and confidence; and
– Are motivated to apply gender equality protocols to address gender bias in judicial decision-making.
