The Judicial Reform and Institutional Strengthening (JURIST) Project in collaboration with the Improved Access to Justice in the Caribbean (IMPACT Justice) Project will host a two-day Conference on Access to Justice for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). The Conference takes place from June 21-22, 2022 and will be held at the Trinidad Hilton and Conference Centre.
In December 2021, both Projects completed a study on access to justice for persons with disabilities. The survey report presented findings based on a questionnaire and independent research. The Conference will provide a forum for discussions with regional stakeholders on the findings presented in the report. Additionally, the Projects are interested in finding out about any developments policy makers in the region would like to pursue for improving access to justice for persons with disabilities.
